Treasure Island

On Friday 13th January Students from across the Academy were treated to a production of Treasure Island at the Lighthouse Poole on Friday. Everyone had a wonderful time watching Bryony Lavery’s brilliant new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale. Students looked smart and behaved exceptionally well. On Friday 10th May Year 7 students took part in an entrepreneur skills day lead by SAMEE. The day involved being in groups and teams to design their own hotel. To celebrate Easter, Oak enrichment groups hosted two parties at the same time bringing together people from all ages across the community. On Tuesday 2nd April our ‘Showtime’ enrichment group performed a fantastic musical in which 3 girls explored ‘Curiosityland’ and met all the people that lived there.
