Half Term Support
Here are the instructions from your teachers - resources are below. Use the plan below as a suggested study pattern, do take time out too - find the balance.
Maths: Past Papers and Sparx - You need to complete the papers under 'test conditions' then use the answer sheet to mark the paper. Use a green pen to correct your work and write in model answers. Make sure you practice key skills on Sparx for at last 1hour 30 minutes throughout the week.
English: Create Flash cards for the key literature quotes, themes, etc. You should also utilise the structure strips to assist in answering the past paper questions in your Booklets.
Science: You should read through the information and then complete the questions. You should use the mark schemes at the back and use green pen to add in all corrections.
History: You should read the knowledge organiser and create self quizzing questions connected to the content. You should focus on Elizabeth: Poverty, Spanish Armada, Religious settlements and Threats. Historical Environment: The Globe. World War 1: The Causes, the events of the stalemate up to the Gallipoli Campaign and part 3 the end with a focus on Russia leaving WW1. Use the ppt to support your work. (1 hour a day split between the topics)
Geography: Read through the knowledge organiser and create self quizzing questions. Use the ppt to support your work. (1 hour a day)
Business: Use Cover and check to learn the different facts in the knowledge organiser. Complete the past paper under 'exam conditions' and then complete corrections with a green pen, using the mark scheme supplied.
Drama: Learn the lines of the script. (20mins a day)
Creative Imedia: Complete the assessment under 'exam conditions' and mark with a green pen using the mark scheme - you should note down the topics you need to work on.
Spanish: Copy and learn key verbs in three tenses. (20mins a day)
