On Thursday the 21st March, our year 11 GCSE Drama group had the opportunity to visit the capital to watch a live theatre production, as an essential element of their GCSE course. The students made the most of their time in London, first with a visit to the Science Museum, to learn more about space and biology they then took the underground tube to Leicester Square where they tried ‘bubble tea’, ate lunch, and took in some of the other tourist attractions.
From there, a short walk over to The Fortune Theatre for the main event. The students had the opportunity to watch ‘The Woman In Black’ which was enjoyed by all. The production was most magnificent and gave students a very dramatic scare…or two. Certainly an experience they can now take into their final written exam with them.
